Jamestown (CSi) The Frontier Village Association on Thursday approved requests.<\/p>\n

Included was a bid of $22,256 from ProBuild, Jamestown, to construct a 12-foot by 68-foot building with a cement floor to house the Carlascio Parade Train.<\/p>\n

FVA President, Charlie Tanata said he received two bids to build a 32-foot by 50-foot storage building with 12-foot high side walls to hold donated antique farm implements. The association is considering having the storage building placed next to Eldridge Hall. \u00a0ProBuild bid $32,486 for the building, while Infinity Building Services bid $41,600, according to Tanata.<\/p>\n

Karen George reported that \u00a02,148<\/strong> people have riden on the Village\u2019s stagecoach\u00a0since May 25th,\u00a0 the most ever, adding that the ride is popular with families.<\/p>\n

She said 698 people have taken pony rides so far this summer, another potential record breaker.<\/p>\n
