Jamestown, ND\u00a0 (KCSi-T.V. News Oct 11, 2012)\u00a0 –Jamestown College will welcome alumni and friends back to the campus for Homecoming 2012 Friday and Saturday, Oct. 12 and 13.<\/p>\n

The popular Street Fair runs from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. The Jimmies will take on Dickinson State at 1 p.m. Saturday in the Homecoming football game.<\/p>\n

Friday, Oct. 12<\/h6>\n

The Jimmie Booster Club luncheon begins at noon in the Nafus Center L2. Cost is $7 at the door. Coaches will provide updates on their seasons, and Jimmie fans will have the opportunity to meet student-athletes.<\/p>\n

A team of alumni will take on the 2012-13 Jimmie baseball team in the Alumni Baseball Game at 3:30 p.m. at Jack Brown Stadium.<\/p>\n

The Jimmie cross country teams will host the Jimmie Invitational at 4 p.m. at Hillcrest Golf Course.<\/p>\n

The Jimmie women\u2019s wrestling team will showcase their talent in the Black & Orange Dual at 5 p.m. in the Hansen Center.<\/p>\n

The Jimmie women\u2019s basketball team will host an Alumni Game at 5:30 p.m. at Jamestown Middle School, and the Jimmie men\u2019s basketball team will open their season against Brandon University at 7 p.m. at the Jamestown Civic Center.<\/p>\n

The Jamestown College Department of Music will present a Homecoming Concert at 7:30 p.m. The Wind Ensemble will begin the concert in DeNault Auditorium, and the Choirs will follow in Voorhees Chapel. A pre-concert reception will take place at 6:45 p.m. in the Reiland Fine Arts Center Lobby.<\/p>\n

An alumni and friends social will begin at 8:30 a.m. at the Gladstone. All alumni and friends are welcome to attend.<\/p>\n

Saturday, Oct. 13<\/h6>\n

Saturday begins with the Homecoming 5K Run\/Walk at 7:30 a.m. starting from the Larson Sports Center (YMCA). The cost to participate is $15 ($20 day of race) with proceeds going to the men\u2019s and women\u2019s cross country and track teams. To register, contact Jim Clark at 252-3467 ext. 5506 or e-mail clark@jc.edu<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Current Jimmie Janes will serve breakfast for Jimmie Jane Alumni at 8:30 a.m. in the Nafus Center.<\/p>\n

The Hall of Fame Breakfast begins at 9 a.m. in the Nafus Center L2. Jamestown College Athletic Hall of Fame inductees John Backhaus, Erin (Boziel) Josing, Shawna Doty-Myers and the 1993-94 men\u2019s basketball team, plus Rollie Greeno Award recipients Phil Martin and Joel Zenker will be recognized. Cost is $8 at the door.<\/p>\n

The Street Fair will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Allen Field Commons. Enjoy food, games, arts and crafts while strolling outdoors. Admission is free; costs at each booth may vary.<\/p>\n

The Jamestown College Bookstore will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The Homecoming football game begins at 1 p.m. A free chili feed will follow at the Civic Center, where the Jimmie men\u2019s basketball team will play another game against Brandon University at 5 p.m.<\/p>\n

The Jimmie men\u2019s and women\u2019s wrestling teams will host their Alumni Duals at 7 p.m. in the Hansen Center.<\/p>\n
