News)\u00a0 &#8212;\u00a0 The United States Fish and Wildlife Service is investigating the shooting of an immature bald eagle which was shot near the city of Crosby, ND on October 11, 2012.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0A reward of up to $2,500.00 is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Witnesses reported the person(s) responsible for the shooting were driving a white Dodge dually pickup truck that had no additional markings.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The United States Fish and Wildlife Service is asking for assistance from the public to help identify this vehicle and the people who were traveling in the vehicle during the incident.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>If you know anyone that lives in the Crosby, North Dakota area or know of someone that was in the area on October 11, 2012, and drives a white Dodge dually pickup, please contact Special Agent Kevin Downs with the United States Fish and Wildlife Service at (701) 355-8531, (701) 390-4735 or (701) 255-0593 to help prevent this from happening again.<\/p>\n<p>Bald eagles are protected by the Bald and Golden Eagle Protection Act, the Migratory Bird Treaty Act, and by North Dakota State law.<\/p>\n<p><em>The mission of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is working with others to conserve, protect, and enhance fish, wildlife, plants, and their habitats for the continuing benefit of the American people.
