{"id":57254,"date":"2014-10-22T18:13:15","date_gmt":"2014-10-22T23:13:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=57254"},"modified":"2014-10-24T08:45:34","modified_gmt":"2014-10-24T13:45:34","slug":"foster-county-absentee-ballot-controversy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=57254","title":{"rendered":"Absentee Ballot Controversy says CarringtonNews.com"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Following is a story that was shared to us from CarringtonNews.com.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Carrington, ND &#8211; story published Oct 21, 2014 at CarringtonNews.com on their\u00a0<a title=\"Facebook\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/CarringtonNews\" target=\"_blank\">Facebook Page<\/a>.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;One continues to shake one&#8217;s head with wonder at the things that go on in the Foster County Auditor&#8217;s office. \u00a0In this video&#8230; which was filmed on the steps of the Foster County Courthouse after today&#8217;s commissioners meeting&#8230; Bill Bauer is explaining what happened when he went to the Auditor&#8217;s office to inquire about the security of the absentee ballots which are being received by Risovi every day.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><center><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/qZQRhwaoi5c?rel=0\" height=\"315\" width=\"420\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/center>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>CarringtonNews.com<\/strong> goes on to say: \u00a0&#8220;As you know, Bill Bauer is a well-respected member of Foster County and was the top vote-getter for commissioner during the June Primary. Because of Risovi&#8217;s mismanagement of the Primary absentee ballots, Bauer was properly concerned and asking that the ballot box in Risovi&#8217;s office be sealed for better security.<\/p>\n<p>Believe it or not, Auditor Risovi was so incensed by Bauer&#8217;s request that she picked up the ballot box, tipped it over and literally threw all the voters&#8217; ballots down on the floor! Foster County sheriff, Mike Tufte, was there to witness Risovi&#8217;s childish temper-tantrum and her disrespect for the voters&#8217; ballots.<\/p>\n<p>Obviously, Bill Bauer takes his position seriously as a potential commissioner for Foster County. You can imagine how he felt when Risovi threw the voters&#8217; ballots all over the floor.<\/p>\n<p>However, since the ND Century Code says the county auditor is in charge of elections, Risovi has full control of the absentee ballots &#8211; even though she is on the ballot, herself, running against a contender for her own office.
