News) &#8212; The Carrington School District, has been selected as a $10,000 winner in the Monsanto Fund\u2019s America\u2019s Farmers Grow Rural Education<sup>SM<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>This program gives farmers the opportunity to nominate their public school district to apply for a merit-based grant to enhance math and science education.<\/p>\n<p>After a three-tier grant review process, Carrington School District was selected as one of five winners in North Dakota, which has a total of $65,000 is being invested in rural education.<\/p>\n<p>Carrington School District faculty, local farmers and Monsanto representatives will participate in a check presentation ceremony prior to the varsity girls\u2019 volleyball match, on Monday October 22, 2012, at about 6-p.m.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Carrington, ND (KCSi-T.V.
