News Oct 25, 2012) &#8212; The Buffalo City Tourism Foundation Board, representatives of the Jamestown City Council and the Jamestown\/Stutsman Development Corp. met Thursday (Oct 25, 2012) to review the 2012 tourism report and discussed the future of tourism in Jamestown.<\/p>\n<p>The meeting was a requirement of the contract between the Buffalo City Tourism Foundation and the City Of Jamestown.<\/p>\n<p>The contract ends on Dec. 31, 2012.<\/p>\n<p>City officials are researching legal issues of the BCTF board structure specified in previous contracts.<\/p>\n<p>If the contract is not renewed the Buffalo City Tourism Foundation may not have the authority to operate in 2013.<\/p>\n<p>The Tourism Foundation promotes tourism and provides grants for tourism related sites in Jamestown,<\/p>\n<p>In other business, the BCTF did not pass a motion to fund fireworks on the 4<sup>th<\/sup> of July, pending 2013 funding.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jamestown, ND (KCSi-T.V.
