{"id":65257,"date":"2015-03-02T14:31:55","date_gmt":"2015-03-02T20:31:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=65257"},"modified":"2015-03-03T07:52:52","modified_gmt":"2015-03-03T13:52:52","slug":"vc-events-activities","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=65257","title":{"rendered":"Winter Show &#8220;Kickoff&#8221; Mar 2: Chili Cookoff &#038; more"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Valley City (CSi) The kickoff this year to the North Dakota Winter Show is on Monday March 2, at the Winter Show Event Center, Main Arena.<\/p>\n<p><strong>5:30pm Chili Cookoff &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>Register on line at\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.valleycitychamber.com\/\">www.valleycitychamber.com<\/a> or pick up at Rosebud Visitors Center.<\/p>\n<p><strong>7:00pm\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0Community Olympics<\/p>\n<p>Events will include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Egg Toss<\/li>\n<li>Smoosh Race<\/li>\n<li>Dizzy Cowboy<\/li>\n<li>Outhouse Horseshoes<\/li>\n<li>Modified Chuckwagon Race<\/li>\n<li>Fly Flicker<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Both at the Winter Show Event Center, Main Arena.<\/p>\n<p>CHILI COOK-OFF: Participants are required to prepare at least ten (10) gallons of chili. Setup will be at 4:30 p.m. in the Winter Show Event Center Main Arena.<\/p>\n<p>COMMUNITY OLYMPICS: Teams of at least 6-8 individuals are recommended to participate in several fun and creative &#8220;Olympic Events&#8221;. The Community Olympics will begin at 7:00 p.m. in the ND Winter Show Event Center Main Arena.<\/p>\n<p>PARTICIPATION FEES: Fees are $10 per team for the Chili Cook-off and $20 for the Community Olympics. If your business or organization participates in both, the fee is $25.
