{"id":66746,"date":"2015-03-03T11:43:18","date_gmt":"2015-03-03T17:43:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=66746"},"modified":"2015-03-03T11:43:18","modified_gmt":"2015-03-03T17:43:18","slug":"ford-analyzing-door-latches","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=66746","title":{"rendered":"Ford analyzing door latches"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\u00a0DETROIT (AP) &#8211; U.S. safety regulators are adding two models to an investigation of Ford Motor Co. door latches that may not close properly.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said Tuesday it&#8217;s including the 2013 Ford Fusion and Lincoln MKZ midsize cars to the probe of latches on 2011-2013 Ford Fiesta compact cars. The investigation now covers nearly 486,000 cars.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ford and the agency have received 640 complaints about the latches. Some said the doors opened inadvertently while the cars were moving. Two injuries were reported.
