{"id":67485,"date":"2015-03-20T09:00:50","date_gmt":"2015-03-20T14:00:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=67485"},"modified":"2015-03-21T21:35:22","modified_gmt":"2015-03-22T02:35:22","slug":"local-pheasants-forever-dinner","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=67485","title":{"rendered":"Mar 20: Pheasants Forever dinner"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/pheasantsforever.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-14050\" alt=\"pheasantsforeverTHUMB\" src=\"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/pheasantsforever.png\" width=\"124\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Jamestown (CSi) The James River, Pheasants Forever Chapter #891 5<sup>th<\/sup> Annual Banquet, will be held on Friday March 20, 2015, at the Jamestown Knights of Columbus Hall.<\/p>\n<p>On Tuesday\u2019s Wayne Byers Show on CSi Cable 2, spokesman Ron Hemmer said, the Cackling Hour starts at 5-p.m. Tickets can be purchased at Dr. Ken McDougall\u2019s office on First Avenue, South, or on line at<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pfevents.org\/event\/1394\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">www.pfevents.org\/event\/1394<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-size: large;\">, <\/span><\/span><span>or at the door..<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Adult Membership and Dinner $50, with the membership including a one year subscription to Pheasants Forever Journal of Upland Conservation with five issues.<\/p>\n<p>Spouse Dinner $20<\/p>\n<p>Ringneck Membership &amp; Dinner $20 and includes a free board game, either Pheasants Forever, or Ducks Forever.<\/p>\n<p>Dinner only (existing members) $20, also $20 for a guest dinner ticket.<\/p>\n<p>Admission includes dinner, toasting and boasting, with like-minded folks.<\/p>\n<p>There are chances to win prizes, and bid on several hunting trips, at less than the full retail price, with bidding starting at one-third of retail cost, including an African Safari, an Argentina Dove Hunt and a Minnesota Black Bear Hunt.<\/p>\n<p>There are also gun raffles.<\/p>\n<p>other prizes and auction items include a trip to Medora, outdoor sports gear, tools, a hand-carved Canada Goose by Bernie Duven, a gourmet dinner prepared by Rosemary McDougall, tickets to the Chanhassen Theater, prints jewelry and guns of all types.<\/p>\n<p>Hemmer added that the banquet brings in about $10,000 each year to support the organization\u2019s efforts in the local area.<\/p>\n<p>Those include pheasant habitat and the TUNE Camp for youth ages 11-16.
