{"id":67553,"date":"2015-03-13T09:50:58","date_gmt":"2015-03-13T14:50:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=67553"},"modified":"2015-03-13T12:44:20","modified_gmt":"2015-03-13T17:44:20","slug":"white-cloud-days-parade-route-to-change","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=67553","title":{"rendered":"White Cloud Days parade route to change"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/buffalo445.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-6531\" alt=\"buffalo445\" src=\"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/buffalo445-300x207.png\" width=\"300\" height=\"207\" srcset=\"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/buffalo445-300x207.png 300w, http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/buffalo445-252x175.png 252w, http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/buffalo445.png 445w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>Jamestown (CSi) The Frontier Village Association has listed the board-approved events during White Cloud Days, a four-day event July 9, 10, 11 &amp; 12, with activities marking the birthday of the albino buffalo.<\/p>\n<p>White Cloud Days is organized by the National Buffalo Museum, Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce and Jamestown Tourism.<\/p>\n<p>Activities include a concert, plus grilled buffalo burgers for sale, and a prairie-themed church service hosted by the Frontier Village.<\/p>\n<p>Old Friends will perform from 7 to 9 p.m. on July 9, 2015 at the amphitheater.<\/p>\n<p>Line dancing will be taught from 6 to 8 p.m. on July 10 at the Frontier Village.<\/p>\n<p>Grilled buffalo burgers will be served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on July 11 at the general store, and at 3 p.m. the Wild West Players will perform a Wild West shootout on Main Street in the village.<\/p>\n<p>Prairie Ministry Services church service is July 12, at 9:30 a.m. at the Pioneer Church.<\/p>\n<p>On a recent Wayne Byers Show on CSi Cable 2, Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Becky Thatcher-Keller, said, the biggest change for this year&#8217;s event, outside of moving the date away from the Stutsman County Fair, is the route of the White Cloud Birthday Parade, on Saturday July 11.<\/p>\n<p>BNSF no longer allow a parade to cross the tracks, as so the parade will start and end at McElroy Park.<\/p>\n<p>Thatcher-Keller said the return route has not yet been decided.
