There will be a selling and signing and visiting with customers.\u00a0 Refreshments will be served.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">Authors<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0Bruce Berg was a teacher of English and Speech at Rugby High School, Jamestown High School and the University of Jamestown for forty years. He directs the Jamestown Performing Arts group, a forum for one-act plays, musical performances and comedy shows. He spent many years researching fashion trends around the world for department stores and apparel manufacturers. He and his wife have taught creative writing to students ranging from 3rd grade to 93 years old. The lesson plan doesn&#8217;t change much. He now focuses his writing on intermediate grade novels that feature Tramp, the world&#8217;s best dog detective. He lives in Jamestown, and is the Development Director for the James River Valley Library System. She has played piano for churches and a wide variety of events throughout the years. She met and married her musician husband during those years, and the two have been performing together throughout their marriage. After retiring from teaching, Nancy took up writing. Her inspiration comes from her life experiences, surroundings, circumstances, life events, and the people and pets in her life. <i>Mornings on the Porch<\/i> is Nancy\u2019s first book.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Mornings on the Porch \u2013 Memoir<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Keith Norman<\/p>\n<p>is a lifelong resident of the Dakotas who has made his home in Jamestown since 1982. His education includes Monango Public School and Valley City State College. His work experience includes computer operations and programing, bartending, medical clinic management, hosting a radio talk show and, most recently, staff writer and columnist for The Jamestown Sun. Over the past decade Norman has written a dozen non-fiction books based on regional history. His work has been translated into a dozen languages and is included in four volumes of <i>Best American Short Stories<\/i>. He is a Guggenheim Fellow, a Lannan Fellow, a U. S. She grew up in western North Dakota and moved to Jamestown for college. She works at the James River Valley Library and at the University of Jamestown at a writing and study skills help desk for students. She writes movie reviews, works on writing and editing projects, and is always ready for outdoor adventures.<\/p>\n<p>Past Darkness \u2013 Novel<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Pages Between Ages<\/p>\n<p>Short Story<\/p>\n<p>Collaboration with Bruce Berg<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Brooke Carroll<\/p>\n<p>Violist Brooke Carroll was a full-scholarship Graduate Performance Diploma student at the Longy School of Music. She earned her Bachelor of Music in Viola Performance at the Biola Conservatory of Music, in California. Brooke was awarded the 2007 Presser Undergraduate Scholar Award, given to one outstanding music major at the Conservatory each year. In 2008, she won the Biola Concerto Competition, and was featured performing Bohuslav Martinu\u2019s Rhapsody Concerto with the orchestra. Brooke lives in Jamestown, ND, where she is Adjunct Instructor of Violin and Viola at the University of Jamestown.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008080; font-size: x-large;\"><span style=\"color: #008080; font-size: x-large;\">\u3000<\/span><\/span>&#8220;Jim Stone is as good a poet as any I\u2019ve worked with over the past thirty years, whether in workshops from Maine to Texas, or at the U of Wisconsin, Madison, or SUNY-Binghamton.
