Mara\u3000is in the 9th grade and\u3000attends Jamestown High School<\/strong>. \u3000She is involved in golf, soccer, and band. \u3000She is a volunteer at the Anne Carlsen Center in Jamestown<a name=\"_GoBack\"><\/a>. Her pageant platform is to, &#8220;<b><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">encourage\u3000children with disabilities, to gain possibilities<\/span><\/b>.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">\u3000The Miss United States Organization can trace its roots back to 1937 when the first title of Miss United States was awarded to Miss California.
