{"id":70485,"date":"2015-04-20T21:27:00","date_gmt":"2015-04-21T02:27:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=70485"},"modified":"2015-04-21T09:16:19","modified_gmt":"2015-04-21T14:16:19","slug":"jps-board-on-test-results","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=70485","title":{"rendered":"JPS board on test results"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/testpaper.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-64069\" alt=\"testpaper\" src=\"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/testpaper.jpg\" width=\"102\" height=\"91\" \/><\/a>Jamestown\u00a0 (CSi)\u00a0 The Jamestown Public School Board Monday, was updated on the State Assessment and Smarter Balance. \u00a0 Assessment Coordinator Phyllis Clemens, updated student tests, problems that students and instructors\u00a0encountered \u00a0taking the tests.<\/p>\n<p>Clemens\u00a0said that most schools had between 40% to 50% of their students that had finished the test with average completion times between 7 to 8 hours.<\/p>\n<p>The board also\u00a0approved new \u00a0hires for the next school year including a math teacher at the High School, a 3rd grade teacher at Louis L\u2019Amour Elementary, a Child Care Instructor and a 6th grade ELA teacher at the Middle School.<\/p>\n<p>High School Graduation will be on Sunday, May 31, 2015 at the Jamestown Civic Center at 2:30-pm.
