{"id":70743,"date":"2015-05-01T06:45:34","date_gmt":"2015-05-01T11:45:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=70743"},"modified":"2015-05-02T20:56:19","modified_gmt":"2015-05-03T01:56:19","slug":"last-annual-comedy-revenue-set-may-12","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=70743","title":{"rendered":"&#8220;Last Annual&#8221; Comedy Revue May 1 &#038; 2"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/comedymask.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-15659\" alt=\"comedymask\" src=\"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/comedymask.jpg\" width=\"90\" height=\"100\" \/><\/a>Jamestown (CSi) The 31st Last Annual Comedy Revue is <strong>Friday and Saturday<\/strong>, May 1-2, at 7:30-p.m., each evening at the Arts Center.<\/p>\n<p>Tickets for the Comedy Revue are $10 for adults.\u00a0 College Students $5, those younger get in free.<\/p>\n<p>Thursday&#8217;s Wayne Byers Show on CSi Cable 2, Emcee, Bruce Berg, said the show brings back Dave McDowell, Tim Bratton, and Richie Wolf.<\/p>\n<p>McDowell, in his 20th year,does a musical duo.<\/p>\n<p>Bratton brings music and topical jokes, in addition to being an excellent musician.<\/p>\n<p>Also performing will be, Joel Lees, Nick Scherbenske, Dave Hillerud, Brooke Carroll, Nancy and Steve Kuykendall and North Dakota poet laureate, Larry Woiwode.<\/p>\n<p>Berg says, over 200 people have performed in the show during the run.<\/p>\n<p>He adds, the\u00a0show \u00a0will last 1 hour and 22 minutes, because it almost always does.<\/p>\n<p>Berg poined out that the Comedy Revue is a part of Jamestown Performing Arts, a nonprofit organization that he and Conrad Davidson started together in 1980, and its raised between $40,000 and $45,000 for charity over the years, going to the arts community, Jamestown High School or the Arts Center, for arts-related activities such as camps, trips or scholarships.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jamestown (CSi) The 31st Last Annual Comedy Revue is Friday and Saturday, May 1-2, at 7:30-p.m., each evening at the Arts Center.
