Tom Herzig, says 15 year-old Heather Ukanou was traveling north on a gravel road at approximately 50 miles per hour to a residence northeast of Kulm. The vehicle began to lose control and entered a ditch. The driver&#8217;s side of the Impala was severely damaged upon impact with a large tree. Two of the occupants required extraction from the vehicle.<\/p>\n<p>Ukanou, along with 19 year-old Steven Mueller, and 15 year-old Katelynn Holmgren were injured.<\/p>\n<p>Two additional passengers, 13 year-old Zane Holmgren and 15 year-old Wyatt Nitschke were not wearing their seat belts and their injuries are unknown.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0The injured teens were taken to hospitals in Fargo, Jamestown, and Aberdeen, South Dakota, by Kulm, Edgeley ambulances.
