{"id":71983,"date":"2015-05-07T08:00:09","date_gmt":"2015-05-07T13:00:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=71983"},"modified":"2015-05-11T09:04:18","modified_gmt":"2015-05-11T14:04:18","slug":"calendars-fundraisers-jrhs","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=71983","title":{"rendered":"Calendars, fundraisers JRHS"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/dogwalkers.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-20904\" alt=\"dogwalkers\" src=\"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/dogwalkers.jpg\" width=\"168\" height=\"135\" srcset=\"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/dogwalkers.jpg 168w, http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/dogwalkers-150x120.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 168px) 100vw, 168px\" \/><\/a>Jamestown (CSi) The James River Humane Society has announced that calendars are now on sale at the shelter, for a donation of $20.<\/p>\n<p>On Friday\u2019s Wayne Byers Show on CSi Cable 2 President, Matt Opsahl said the cookbook fundraiser is coming soon.<\/p>\n<p>Coming up on June 6, 2015, the fundraiser Pancake Feed is set at Applebee\u2019s in Jamestown with tickets at $6 available at the shelter, or at the door.<\/p>\n<p>He pointed out that an Open House is set at the James River Humane Society, located off the I-94 Bloom Exit on July 18, 2015 from 10-a.m., to 2-p.m. the open house will also have air games, and face painting.<\/p>\n<p>He added that volunteers are needed to socialize and exercise the dogs and assist in feeding, giving medications to them, in addtion to cleanup .<\/p>\n<p>Also donations of dog treats, toys, leashes, rawhides, cat toys treats and collars, along with cleaning supplies are always welcome.<\/p>\n<p>Currently there are 28 cats and 14 dogs available for adoption.<\/p>\n<p>For more information contact the James River Humane Society at 252-0747.<\/p>\n<p>The shelter is open everyday from 9-a.m., to noon or appointments to visit can be made.<\/p>\n<p>The James River Humane Society is located off the I-94 Bloom Exit.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jamestown (CSi) The James River Humane Society has announced that calendars are now on sale at the shelter, for a donation of $20.
