IN ADDITION&#8230;STRONG NORTHEAST WINDS UP TO 35 MPH<br \/>\n\u00a0ALONG WITH RAIN OR SNOW COULD POSE A THREAT TO YOUNG LIVESTOCK.<br \/>\n\u00a0MUCH UNCERTAINTY REMAINS ON THE EXACT TRACK OF THIS STORM AND<br \/>\n\u00a0POTENTIAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) &#8211; North Dakota agricultural officials are encouraging ranchers to protect their newborn and young livestock in advance of this weekend&#8217;s predicted storm.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The National Weather Service says there&#8217;s a possibility for up to half a foot of heavy, wet snow in the western part of the state, along with gusty winds and falling temperatures.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 State Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring says the weather may leave calves and lambs vulnerable to hypothermia.
