{"id":7505,"date":"2012-11-19T08:01:23","date_gmt":"2012-11-19T14:01:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=7505"},"modified":"2012-11-19T08:01:23","modified_gmt":"2012-11-19T14:01:23","slug":"thresse-f-dolly-folk-nov-17-2012","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=7505","title":{"rendered":"Thresse F. \u201cDolly\u201d Folk &#8211; Nov 17, 2012"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\">Thresse F. \u201cDolly\u201d Folk, 83, of Jamestown, ND, died Saturday, November 17, 2012 at Ave Maria Village, Jamestown.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\">Dolly was born on October 26, 1929, in Jamestown the daughter of Joseph and Christe Walsh.\u00a0 The family moved to Seattle, WA for a short time, then returned to Jamestown where Dolly graduated from St. John\u2019s Academy.\u00a0 She married Pat Folk on September 14, 1949 at St. James Catholic Church in Jamestown.\u00a0 The family lived in Alabama while Pat was in the service, and then returned to Jamestown where they raised a family.\u00a0 Dolly was a member of St. James Basilica and the Tabernacle.\u00a0 She volunteered at the nursing homes in Jamestown.\u00a0 Dolly enjoyed bowling and playing cards.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\">Dolly is survived by her husband, Pat Folk, Jamestown; two daughters, Sue (Larry) Hopland, Jamestown and Marilyn (Wayne Muehler) Carlascio, Bismarck, ND; five grandchildren, Jason (Tricia) Hopland, Tonah (Sean) Safranski, Seannah (Derek) Duchscherer, Lisa (Eric) Lundvall, and Brandon Carlascio; four great grandchildren, Taylor and Ashton Safranski, and Bailey and Kinsley Hopland; one brother, Malcolm (Ruth) Walsh, Minneapolis, MN; and one sister, Marie George, Renton, WA.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\">She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, David Folk; one daughter, Mary Ann Speck; one sister, Adelle Harding; and one brother, Cleatus Walsh.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\"><strong><br \/>\nEucharist of Christian Burial: \u2013 <\/strong>10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at St. James Basilica, Jamestown.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\"><strong>Visitation: <\/strong>1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday, November 19, 2012 at Williams-Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\"><strong>Prayer Service <\/strong>7:00 p.m., Monday, November 19, 2012 at Williams-Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\"><strong>Interment \u2013 <\/strong>Calvary Cemetery, Jamestown, North Dakota.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Thresse F. \u201cDolly\u201d Folk, 83, of Jamestown, ND, died Saturday, November 17, 2012 at Ave Maria Village, Jamestown.
