HIRSCH<br \/>\n\u00a0AP Food Editor<\/p>\n<p>Nov 21, 2012&#8230;<br \/>\nArt Ginsburg, the delightfully dorky television chef known as Mr. Food, has died at his home in Weston, Fla.<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ginsburg, who was 81, enticed viewers for decades with a can-do<br \/>\nfocus on easy weeknight cooking and the tagline &#8220;Ooh! It&#8217;s so<br \/>\ngood!&#8221; He was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer just over a year<br \/>\nago and died Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0The cancer had gone into remission following early treatments and surgery, but returned earlier this month.<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ginsburg had an unlikely formula for success in this era of<br \/>\nreality cooking shows, flashy chefs and artisanal foods.<\/p>\n<p>With a pleasantly goofy, grandfatherly manner and a willingness to embrace<br \/>\nprocessed foods, Ginsburg endeared himself to millions of home<br \/>\ncooks via 90-second segments syndicated to 125 local television<br \/>\nstations around the country.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By J.M.
