(AP) \u2013 A former North Dakota county official has pleaded guilty to a charge stemming from a state investigation into his time in office.<\/p>\n<p>Court records show former Foster County auditor Roger Schlotman has pleaded guilty to the misdemeanor charge of public servant refusing to perform duty.<\/p>\n<p>Schlotman and Foster County Board of Commissioners chairman James Carr were charged in 2013 following accusation of misuse of county property and records.<\/p>\n<p>Schlotman resigned from office after he was served with the criminal complaint. Records show two counts each of misapplication of entrusted property and criminal conspiracy, and one count of tampering with public records against Schlotman were dismissed this week.<\/p>\n<p>Judge Thomas Merrick has not imposed a sentence.<\/p>\n<p>Carr is scheduled to face trial in November on two counts of criminal conspiracy.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"2013\" href=\"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=31792\" target=\"_blank\">2013 CSiNewsNow.com story<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>CARRINGTON, N.D.
