(AP) \u2013 North Dakota\u2019s Public Service Commission has approved ownership transfer of a proposed 200-megawatt wind farm in the southeastern part of the state.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The three-member panel on Monday gave Minneapolis-based Xcel Energy permission to purchase the proposed $300 million North Dakota wind project from Geronimo Energy, which is based in Edina, Minnesota.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Regulatory filings say Geronimo Energy had problems securing financing for the Courtenay Wind Farm near Jamestown.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Xcel earlier agreed to buy all power produced from the 100-turbine wind farm that has the capacity to power up to 105,000 homes.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Xcel spokesman Dave Sederquist says the project should be completed next year.BISMARCK, N.D.
