A &#8220;Paws for a Cause,&#8221; fundraiser.<\/p>\n<p>The cost is $25 per entry, with registration at 11-a.m., and kickstands up at noon.<\/p>\n<p>On Friday\u2019s Wayne Byers Show on CSi Cable 2, JRHS, President, Matt Opsahl also pointed out that on October 17th, there will be a bake sale at the Buffalo Mall, from 10-a.m. to 2-p.m.<\/p>\n<p>The shelter still has calendars, cookbooks, and t-shirts available for sale, with all proceeds going to the James River Humane Society.<\/p>\n<p>Opsahl pointed out that the shelter currently has 14 cats and 12 dogs available for adoption. A cat had kittens on Labor Day weekend so some kittens will be available in the future.<\/p>\n<p>He added that donations are accepted at Hugo&#8217;s and can be dropped off at the shelter, such as toys, treats, food, rawhides, blankets, plus cleaning supplies.<\/p>\n<p>Matt added that a paying job opening is available on Thursdays and Fridays, from 7-a.m. to noon each day.
