\"Out<\/a>Valley City\u00a0 (CSi VCSU Newsletter)\u00a0 As a service learning project, students in Katie Woehl\u2019s VCSU Abnormal Psychology class are helping to organize this year\u2019s Out of the Darkness Walk, a fundraiser through the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP).<\/p>\n

The AFSP has two categories of walks: community walks and campus walks. For the past several years Valley City has had a community walk; however, because of the hard work of our students last year, we were asked to make our local walk a campus walk. VCSU will be the first and only campus in North Dakota to have a campus walk,<\/strong> and we\u2019re excited about the opportunity to host such an important event for our community! The students have taken on the challenge and are working very hard to make this year\u2019s walk a success.<\/p>\n

Since this is now a campus walk, we would really like to see participation from as many members of the campus as possible. You can participate in a variety of ways:<\/p>\n
