Jamestown (CSi) Jamestown\u2019s new 108 bed Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott,has opened 930 25th St. SW, behind the Buffalo Mall. The hotel is complete, however the separate but attached indoor pool building and party deck will be under construction until summer.<\/p>\n

The soft opening was on Friday with a ribbon-cutting and Grand planned for November 16, 2015.<\/p>\n

Fairfield Inn & Suites is locally owned by Buffalo City Holdings LLC. It is managed by Fargo-based Paces Lodging Corporation. The groundbreaking for the project was in January.<\/p>\n

Paces also manages the Red Roof Inn and the MainStay Suites in Fargo and the Best Western in Bismarck.<\/p>\n

Operations Manager Josh Greeney says, the Jamestown Fairfield Inn & Suites currently employs 27 full-time and part-time employees.<\/p>\n

Applications are still being accepted for various areas of the hotel.<\/p>\n

The hotel offers guests an indoor swimming pool with water slides, a party deck and outdoor gas grill are all meant to enhance that experience.<\/p>\n

The hot tub that fits 20 people and a gas barbecue and fire pit outside.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s a fitness center with free weights, mats and exercise machines is aimed at the adult traveler, as is the valet laundry. In the lobby is a stone hearth fireplace, sofas and a business center with computers and a printer.<\/p>\n

The lobby features booths with outlets to plug in laptops and complimentary WiFi, she said. The d\u00e9cor with bright earthy colors is designed for the millennial generation.<\/p>\n

A 969-square-foot event space can be rented to seat 66 people, she said.<\/p>\n

There are four styles of guest rooms that range in standard rates of $119 to $149 per night, with special rates through AAA, CAA, Marriott Rewards points, senior discounts for guests over age 62, government and military, corporate and with promotional codes.<\/p>\n

All guest rooms have complimentary wireless high-speed Internet access and 47-inch LCD flat screen televisions with cable and premium movie channels, radio and iPod dock, chair, desk, mini-refrigerator and microwave and phone with voicemail and Paul Mitchell products with the bathroom amenities.<\/p>\n

All guest rooms are mobility accessible and five rooms have roll-in showers. Some rooms are hearing accessible with visual alarms and notification devices for door and phone.<\/p>\n

Fairfield Inn & Suites brings the number of guest lodgings in Jamestown to 16, and a new total of 807 available rooms.<\/p>\n

The Fairfield Inn & Suites General Manager is Sarah Ferry, and the Operations Manager is Josh Greeney.<\/p>\n
