PAUL, Minn. (AP) &#8211; A man called a person of interest in the 1989 abduction of an 11-year-old Minnesota boy has been ordered held on unrelated child pornography charges.<\/p>\n<p>Fifty-two-year-old Daniel James Heinrich was charged last week with possessing and receiving child pornography after authorities searched his Annandale home in July for evidence in the disappearance of Jacob Wetterling.<\/p>\n<p>Magistrate Judge Tony Leung (lee-YOONG&#8217;) said Wednesday the amount of child pornography found in Heinrich&#8217;s home and evidence of a longstanding fixation on boys justified holding him.<\/p>\n<p>Much of the hearing involved investigators laying out their reasons for the search. Heinrich&#8217;s attorney, Reynaldo Aligada, noted in questioning an FBI agent that Heinrich has never been prosecuted in Jacob&#8217;s disappearance nor in the sexual assault of another boy a few miles away about nine months earlier.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ST.
