The board reviewed two other bids from Matthew sSpecialty Vehicles based in Greensboro, N.C., and LDV Inc. based in Burlington, Wis.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/JRVLSbmInterior.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright  wp-image-88032\" alt=\"JRVLSbmInterior\" src=\"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/JRVLSbmInterior-300x202.jpg\" width=\"180\" height=\"121\" srcset=\"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/JRVLSbmInterior-300x202.jpg 300w, http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/JRVLSbmInterior-259x175.jpg 259w, http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/JRVLSbmInterior.jpg 445w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 180px) 100vw, 180px\" \/><\/a>The board had accepted a $243,000 bid from OBS Inc. but during a special meeting on October 5th, the board rejected the bid after library director, Joe Rector, discussed the bid further with the U.S. Department of Agriculture and an attorney. Rector said in October that the bid didn\u2019t include signed documentation necessary to finalize the proposal.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/JRVLSbmInterior1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft  wp-image-88031\" alt=\"JRVLSbmInterior1\" src=\"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/JRVLSbmInterior1-300x202.jpg\" width=\"180\" height=\"121\" srcset=\"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/JRVLSbmInterior1-300x202.jpg 300w, http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/JRVLSbmInterior1-259x175.jpg 259w, http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/JRVLSbmInterior1.jpg 445w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 180px) 100vw, 180px\" \/><\/a>There is a bookmobile fund where members of the community can contribute to the cost of the bookmobile.
