During the fall and winter flu season, we encourage healthy people to keep their donation appointments since many regular donors find themselves fighting the flu bug themselves.<\/p>\n<p>If you are feeling well, we encourage you to donate at the JRMC community blood drive. This is also a perfect time of year for &#8220;first time donors&#8221; to help patients who are counting on a volunteer like you to provide the lifesaving blood that they need. Your donation will make a difference for those who are fighting cancer, having a surgery, or facing an emergency.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The next opportunity to donate blood in your community will be on December 1<sup>st<\/sup> at Jamestown Regional Medical Center from 9:30am to 2:30pm. Contact Katie Mittleider at (701) 952-4814 to make an appointment<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>If you have received the flu shot there\u2019s no impact on your ability to donate blood, you can receive the shot and donate blood that same day.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>To save time, donors can now fill out their Health History Questionnaire online at<\/p>\n<p><b><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.unitedbloodservices.org\/\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\">www.unitedbloodservices.org<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\"> the day of their donation.
