{"id":88727,"date":"2015-12-16T11:00:05","date_gmt":"2015-12-16T17:00:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=88727"},"modified":"2015-12-21T08:15:16","modified_gmt":"2015-12-21T14:15:16","slug":"victory-lutheran-christmas-dinner-dec-20","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=88727","title":{"rendered":"Victory Lutheran Christmas Dinner, serves nearly 500"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/Thnksgivingdinner.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-7426\" alt=\"Thnksgivingdinner\" src=\"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/Thnksgivingdinner.jpg\" width=\"170\" height=\"73\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Jamestown (CSi) On Sunday Victory Lutheran Church in Jamestown dished up<\/p>\n<p>nearly 500 meals at the church\u2019s Community Christmas Dinner.<\/p>\n<p>The meal was free of charge, as those in attendance feasted on turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, stuffing, corn, green bean casserole and homemade desserts.<\/p>\n<p>The meal\u2019s coordinator, Kris Meidinger, says the volunteers served about 300 dinners and delivered another 171 to people in their homes, more than usual.<\/p>\n<p>Meidinger says just some small problems, with roasters popping a couple of breakers.<\/p>\n<p>Pastor Shawn Bowman adds, the church couldn\u2019t put on this dinner every year if it weren\u2019t for the hard work of the congregation.<\/p>\n<p>Previously&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Jamestown\u00a0 (CSi) Victory Lutheran Church, located at 510 9<sup>th<\/sup> Ave. SW, will host a <strong>Community Christmas Dinner<\/strong>, Sunday, <strong>Dec 20<\/strong>, from 11:30 a.m. &#8211; 1:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall.<\/p>\n<p>A complete turkey meal with all the trimmings will be served.\u00a0 Meals will also be delivered to those who unable to attend at the church.
