The project is estimated to<br \/>\ncost $2.9 million of which the federal government will pay $2.2 million.<\/p>\n<p>The Corps&#8217; Environmental Infrastructure Program, also referred to as Section<br \/>\n594 program, authorizes the Corps to assist public entities, in the form of<br \/>\ndesign and construction of projects in North Dakota. These projects include<br \/>\nwastewater treatment, combined sewer overflow water supply, as well as<br \/>\nenvironmental restoration and surface water protection and development.<br \/>\nSimilar projects have been completed in Fort Abercrombie, North Dakota, and<br \/>\nMinot, North Dakota.<\/p>\n<p>The draft Environmental Assessment,<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.mvp.usace.army.mil\/Home\/PublicNotices.aspx\">http:\/\/www.mvp.usace.army.mil\/Home\/PublicNotices.aspx<\/a>, is available for<br \/>\npublic review and comment until Jan. 5, 2016.
