The registration of <b><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">ALL<\/span><\/b> kindergarten students for the 2016-2017 school year will be held January 4<sup>th<\/sup> through 22<sup>nd<\/sup> from 8:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. by appointment only at the district administrative office, 207 2<sup>nd<\/sup> Avenue SE.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">The kindergarten program is a District-Wide program. Students may be required to attend the kindergarten program in a school other than their neighborhood school. School assignments will be made in June 2016, which you will receive notification by mail.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Children who will be five years of age by August 1, 2016, are eligible to register for the 2016-2017 school term. Parents are requested to bring the <b><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">child&#8217;s certified birth certificate.<\/span><\/b> The child&#8217;s <b>certified<\/b> birth certificate is required before permanent registration can be completed. Parents are also requested to bring a copy of their child\u2019s <b><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">certified immunization records<\/span><\/b>. State law requires that all children be properly immunized before they can attend school.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><strong>FIRST GRADE REGISTRATION<\/strong><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Parents\/guardians of children residing in the Jamestown Public School District who will be six years of age by August 1, 2016, and who have not attended kindergarten in the Jamestown Public Schools, should contact district administrative office, 252-1950, to set up a registration appointment held January 25<sup>th<\/sup> through 29<sup>th<\/sup>, 2016.<\/p>\n<p>Parents\/guardians are asked to bring their <b><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">child&#8217;s certified birth certificate.<\/span><\/b> The child&#8217;s <b>certified<\/b> birth certificate is required before permanent registration can be completed.
