(CSi)\u00a0 20 year old Roddy\u00a0 Gentzkow, Jr.,\u00a0of LaMoure, \u00a0is facing criminal vehicular homicide charges in connection with a drunk driving crash that killed his passenger. He\u00a0was given a $50,000 surety appearance bond or a $5,000 dollar cash bond, at his Wednesday court appearance. \u00a0He posted bail out of the Barnes County jail.<\/p>\n

Gentzkow will be under house arrest and cannot consume alcohol. \u00a0Authorities say\u00a0Gentzkow\u00a0drove his truck off the road and hit a tree at 3:15 a.m.,\u00a0Friday morning, in LaMoure.<\/p>\n

His passenger, 25-year old Joshua Dahlen of LaMoure\u00a0was killed in the crash.\u00a0He can not \u00a0have contact with the Dahlen family.<\/p>\n

Neither man was wearing a seatbelt. \u00a0Gentzkow has two previous charges on his record for a minor possessing and consuming alcohol.\u00a0His next court appearance is in March.<\/p>\n

WDAY reports, Roddy Gentzkow\u00a0will have his first bond hearing Wednesday morning.\u00a0He was in Barnes County jail Tuesday night.<\/p>\n

Authorities say\u00a0Gentzkow\u00a0drove his truck off the road and hit a tree at 3 Friday morning. \u00a025-year old Joshua Dahlen was killed in the crash. \u00a0Neither man was wearing a seatbelt.<\/p>\n

Gentzgow has two previous charges on his record for a minor possessing and consuming alcohol.<\/p>\n

UPDATED — LAMOURE, N.D. (AP) –\u00a0 The North Dakota Highway Patrol has released the names of the victims\u00a0in a one vehicle head-on collision Friday morning\u00a0 at 3:15, in LaMoure.<\/p>\n

The Highway Patrol says a pickup truck operated by 20 year old Roddy Gentzkow<\/strong>, Jr.,\u00a0of LaMoure, was \u00a0traveling at a high speed went off a street and struck a tree about 3:15 a.m. Friday, in the 400 block of 1st St NE., in LaMoure.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0passenger, 25 year old Joshua Dahlen of LaMoure<\/strong>\u00a0was pronounced dead at the Oakes hospital.\u00a0Gentzkow \u00a0was injured, also taken to the Oakes Hospital by LaMoure Ambulance Service,\u00a0and arrested for driving under the influence.<\/p>\n

The crash remains under investigation by the NDHP.<\/p>\n
