(AP) &#8211; North Dakota&#8217;s Department of Mineral Resources says the state&#8217;s oil production increased by about 5,200 barrels a day in November, while natural gas production rose to a record level.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The agency says the state produced an average of 1.17 million barrels of oil daily in November. The November production was about 51,200 barrels per day less than the record set in December 2014.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 North Dakota also produced 1.66 million cubic feet of natural gas in November, beating the previous record set in July.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The November tally is the latest figure available because oil production numbers typically lag at least two months.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 There were 49 drill rigs operating in North Dakota&#8217;s oil patch on Friday.
