(AP) &#8211; Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota has hired former state Rep. Pam Gulleson for the position of vice president of Public Affairs.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Gulleson, who lost to Kevin Cramer in the U.S. House race in November, will assume the responsibilities of the newly created position in January at the company&#8217;s Fargo headquarters.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Gulleson will work with the company&#8217;s government relations team and have both federal and state responsibilities.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Paul von Ebers, president and chief executive officer of Blue Cross, says Gulleson brings extensive experience in legislative policy, strategy and health education to the job.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Gulleson says she&#8217;s pleased to join the company and looks forward to drawing from her health care and public policy experience.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>FARGO, N.D.
