He replaced Democrat Byron Dorgan, who decided to not seek re-election. Hoeven beat Democrat Tracy Potter 76 percent to 22 percent. \u00a0Prior to being elected to the Senate, Hoeven served as governor of North Dakota from 2000-2010.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/CramerKevin.png\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-15723\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-thumbnail wp-image-15723\" src=\"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/CramerKevin-150x150.png\" alt=\"CramerKevin\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a>Sunday, the\u00a0Republicans endorsed <strong>Rep. Kevin Cramer<\/strong>, R-N.D., for another term as North Dakota\u2019s House member.
