Valley City (CSi) City Wide Cleanup Week set in Valley City the week of May 9-13.<\/p>\n

Valley City Crews will pick up curbside items at no charge.<\/p>\n

The annual clean up a way help residents get rid of unwanted items.<\/p>\n

\"CleanUpWeekValleyCity\"<\/a>Items included in the pickup will include, tree branches, household items, and small landscaping debris,couches, chairs, furniture, shrubs, branches and wood. Paints and liquids can be disposed of in a dry form. Cat litter or sawdust can be used to absorb the liquid. Empty can be left out with garbage.<\/p>\n

Do not bag or box branches, place those items on the boulevard during your regular garbage pickup day.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Place the garbage into boxes, bags or cans not to exceed 32 gallons or 50 lbs.<\/p>\n

Items NOT being picked up<\/strong> include: medical waste, electronics and appliances.<\/p>\n

Leaves and grass need to be taken to the collection site or to the landfill at no charge.<\/p>\n

Tires must be taken to the transfer station.<\/p>\n

Batteries must be taken to Truck & Auto Salvage or Valley Recycling Center.<\/p>\n

Scrap metal may be taken to Valley Recycling Center.<\/p>\n

Residents can take unwanted appliances to Truck & Auto Salvage or Valley Recycling Center. There may be a fee for refrigeration or freezing units with freon.<\/p>\n

Free disposal of grass, leaves, branches, trees and used motor oil and metal can be disposed of at the Transfer Station all year.<\/p>\n
