{"id":9979,"date":"2013-01-03T08:15:18","date_gmt":"2013-01-03T14:15:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=9979"},"modified":"2013-01-05T18:09:55","modified_gmt":"2013-01-06T00:09:55","slug":"magdalena-wald-jan-3-2013","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=9979","title":{"rendered":"Magdalena Wald &#8211; Jan 3, 2013"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\">Magdalena Wald, 94, of Edgeley, ND, died Thursday, January 3, 2013 at Manor St. Joseph, Edgeley.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\">Magdalena was born on June 25, 1918, in Kintyre, ND, the 7<sup>th<\/sup> of 19 children to Frank and Magdalena (Feist) Schlosser.\u00a0 She was raised on the family farm and attended school in rural Kintyre.\u00a0 Maggie married Valentine Wald on September 19, 1938 at Transfiguration Catholic Church, Edgeley.\u00a0 They moved to Montpelier, ND where they farmed from 1938 until 1942, when they bought a farm near Edgeley.\u00a0 They retired and moved to Edgeley in October 1995.\u00a0 Valentine died on November 29, 1999.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\">Maggie was a member of Transfiguration Catholic Church and the Altar Society.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\">She is survived by her sons, Bill (Sharon) Wald, Washburn, ND, James (Deb) Wald, Edgeley, Lawrence (Debbie) Wald, Edgeley, Ronald (Linda) Wald, Edgeley, David (Holly) Wald, Edgeley, Douglas (Kelly) Wald, Edgeley; daughters, Rita Wald, West Fargo, ND and Tammy (Kevin) Jangula, Edgeley; 22 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; sons-in-law, Dale Scheehean, Gladstone, OR and Jerome Triepke of Fargo, ND; two brothers, Joe Schlosser, Edgeley and Valentine Schlosser, Fargo; and one sister, Mary (Tony) Wald, Bismarck, ND.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\">She was preceded in death by her husband, Valentine Wald; two daughters, Delene Scheehean and Carol Triepke; and one grandson, David Scheehean; and fifteen siblings.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\"><strong><br \/>\nEucharist of Christian Burial: <\/strong>10:30 a.m., Saturday, January 5, 2013 at Transfiguration Catholic Church, Edgeley.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\"><strong>Visitation: <\/strong>4:00 p.m to 7:00 p.m, Friday, January 4, 2013 at Transfiguration Catholic Church, Edgeley.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\"><strong>Prayer Service: <\/strong>7:00 p.m, Friday, January 4, 2013 at Transfiguration Catholic Church, Edgeley.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\"><strong>Interment: <\/strong>Mt.
