Currently, the two libraries are about 16,500 square feet combined.<\/p>\n<p>If the library doesn&#8217;t meet this standard, it will be ineligible to receive grants from the state. Rector adds in the last eight to nine years, the library has received approximately $50,000 in grants annually from the state.<\/p>\n<p>The board wants to create a strategic plan to provide a plan for renovations in the coming years.<\/p>\n<p>Other provisions to the plan will include a site plan, parking plan, a business plan and financial information.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jamestown (CSi) The James River Valley Library System Board of Directors has unanimously approved a contract with a local architect.
