Jamestown (CSi) The Jamestown Rural Fire Department reports a lightning strike during last evening’s thunderstorm damaged a home.
The fire in the 3300 block of 80th Avenue Southeast, was started about 6:30-p.m.
Damage was reported to the home’s entryway,kitchen and floor joists under the furnace.
JRFD Chief Ben Maulding said there were 16 firefighters on scene
One firefighter was treated for a cut.
The rural fire units were on the scene over two hours.
