JamestownPolice_2Jamestown (CSi)  Jamestown Police continue the investigation into an early Tuesday morning stabbing and altercation in Southwest Jamestown, where a 32 year old Jamestown man and a 61 year old Jamestown man were injured.

Lt. James Hunt, reported that the stabbing at a home in the 900 block of 17th Street Southwest occurred around 4:10 a.m.

The report says a 61 year old man who received cuts, in the confrontation, stabbed the 32 year old male during an altercation.

The stabbed man was transported to JRMC with a chest wound, and was later transported to another healthcare facility.

The 61 year old male was also taken to Jamestown Regional Medical Center, and was treated and released.

Jamestown Police continues with the investigation.
