Steven Rowell, 54, of Lincoln, NE, formerly of, Jamestown, ND, died on Friday, May 17, 2013 at his home of natural causes.

Steven John Rowell was born on February 5, 1959, in Jamestown, the son of John and Carole (Cichos) Rowell. He graduated from Jamestown High School in 1977 and from Jamestown College in 1982. Steve was an insurance adjuster and lived in Bismarck, ND for a short time, then moved to Lincoln, NE where his home has been since.

He was an avid fan of the Nebraska Cornhuskers and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Reading, listening to music, colleting antiques were some of Steve’s hobbies. He especially loved his grandchildren and spending time with them.

Steve is survived by his two sons, Seth (Jayme) Rowell, Boulevar, MI and their children, Dylan and Harper, and Bryce (Jess) Rowell and their children, Audrey and Brooks; siblings, Rob Rowel, Faribault, MN, Tim (Jodi Kurtz) Rowel, Grand Forks, ND, Rich (Becky) Rowel, Williston, ND, Joe (Cory) Rowell, Jamestown, Beth Franzen, Jamestown, Lisa (Chuck Wright) Rowell, Jamestown, Bill (Faith) Rowell, Nebraska City, NE, Chris (Delcie Cree) Rowell, Jamestown, Jennifer (Jesse) Steele, Jamestown, Amanda (Jeremy Kropp) Henne, Jamestown, Paul Rowell, Bismarck, ND, Ben (Jessica Gilbertson) Rowell, Jamestown; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents
