(AP) &#8211; The Barnes County Historical Society is hosting an 18-foot-long fossilized triceratops named Gundy as its newest exhibit.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0The \u00a0North Dakota Geological Survey is lending Gundy to the museum in Valley City.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Gundy, a very complete fossil, was found in the southwest part of the state in 1992.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Curator Wes Anderson says that it&#8217;s not common to walk into a small museum and find a dinosaur. Anderson says that it is &#8220;a remarkable thing to run into, and it is here.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Valley City (CSi) The North Dakota Highway Patrol reports a one vehicle<\/p>\n<p>rollover accident Friday afternoon about 1:50 injured two people.<\/p>\n<p>The report says the 2005 Honda Accord operated by 27 year old Fatumata Sheriff of Bismarck was traveling eastbound on I-94 at mile marker 290 on the west edge of Valley City, in the right lane, approaching a slower moving vehicle. Before rear-ending the other vehicle the driver of the Honda swerved left to avoid a collision. After taking evasive action the driver of the Honda lost control and slid into the median.<\/p>\n<p>After entering the median, the vehicle rolled, coming to rest in the median partially blocking the westbound passing lane.<\/p>\n<p>Sheriff and the passenger, 23 year old Oumaru Sheriff also of Bismarck were injured and taken to Mercy Hospital in Valley City by Barnes County Ambulance, for treatment of injuries.<\/p>\n<p>The crash remains under investigation by the Highway Patrol.<\/p>\n<p>Assisting at the scene were, the Barnes County Sheriff\u2019s Office, and Valley City Police<\/p>\n<p>\u3000<\/p>\n<p>Jamestown (CSi) The Pollert &amp; Zenker Benefit is set for Sunday June 26, 2016 from 3-p.m., to 6-p.m., at Atonement Lutheran Church in Jamestown, at 1009 12<sup>th<\/sup> Avenue Northeast in Jamestown.<\/p>\n<p>There will be music, food, and a live auction.<\/p>\n<p>They lost their home and a large amount of the contents in a fire that occurred the evening of May 21, 2016<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0HILLSBORO, N.D. (AP) &#8211; No one was injured when a crop-spraying plane crashed near Hillsboro.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Authorities say the plane was coming in for refueling Friday evening when it landed short of the runway. The plane&#8217;s nose hit the ground and the plane spun before coming to a rest.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The pilot wasn&#8217;t hurt.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The Traill County Sheriff&#8217;s Department is investigating.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) &#8211; Formal charges are pending against a man accused of firing gunshots in Bismarck over the weekend.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Authorities say the 22-year-old suspect fired a handgun multiple times in a convenience store area before entering the home of a woman with whom he had previously had a relationship.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Officers arrested the man without incident. There were no reports of injuries.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Update&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) &#8211; The U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration says a man has died and three others were seriously injured in an oil well explosion in western North Dakota.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 OSHA Area Director Eric Brooks says a 52-year-old Wyoming man died Sunday from injuries he suffered Saturday morning at a well site operated by XTO Energy Inc. near Watford City.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The man&#8217;s name was not immediately released pending notification of relatives.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Brooks says two other men, one from Wyoming and another from Colorado, suffered third-degree burns to 70 percent of their bodies. A fourth man, from Wyoming, suffered burns to his face.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 XTO Energy is a subsidiary of ExxonMobil. A spokeswoman says the men were contractors working for companies that do maintenance on oil wells.<br \/>\n\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>GLADSTONE, N.D. (AP) &#8211; A 32-year-old Gladstone man on the ballot for a city council spot has also managed to win as a write-in for mayor of the small western North Dakota city.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Councilman Chase Fred won two positions, setting up a choice.\u00a0 Fred has decided to be mayor.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Though Fred ran for city council, 27 voters wrote his name down for mayor, beating out a different candidate&#8217;s 21 votes.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Fred says he wants to see new business come to town. He and his wife moved to the city roughly a year ago.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>LINTON, N.D. (AP) &#8211; Emmons County is benefiting from hundreds of Dakota Access Pipeline workers who are living in the area.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The agrarian county is used to getting a boost from river fishing and camping folks, but large-scale industrial projects are mostly far off the county&#8217;s economic map, so all of the welders, excavators and other pipeline workers who have recently moved to town are unprecedented.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Joy Bosch, Linton&#8217;s deputy auditor,\u00a0 her office&#8217;s phone has been ringing off the hook with calls from people looking for a place to stay while they work on the pipeline. But she says there are no vacancies available.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Dakota Access Pipeline spokeswoman Lisa Dillinger says a specific construction segment such as the one in Emmons County requires about 600 to 800 workers.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) &#8211; Maintenance work is slated to be done this month on the Memorial Bridge over the Missouri River between Bismarck and Mandan.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The state Transportation Department says work is slated to begin Monday and will continue until the end of June.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The agency says work on the 2,369-foot bridge will take place during the daytime hours. The four lanes of bridge will be reduced to a single lane at various times during the maintenance and speeds will be reduced.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The $60 million bridge opened to traffic in 2008. It replaced the 86-year-old Liberty Memorial Bridge that was the first on the river designed for automobiles.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The new bridge has a military theme and displays.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0MINOT, N.D. (AP) &#8211; Businesses in downtown Minot are keeping a positive attitude about street construction in the city.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Businesses are getting creative to bring in customers during a summer of construction.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Tiffany Lee is owner and manager of Charlie&#8217;s Main Street Cafe. Lee says she shares daily specials with construction workers and delivers meals to them.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Main Street Books set up an indoor reading and play area up front for a view of the construction. Kids can come in to dress up in hard hats and construction vests.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Gideon&#8217;s Trumpet owner Kay Eaton says the store is using 20 percent off coupons to keep customers coming back. (AP) &#8211; Children in the Williston region are being taught the fundamentals of operating a business, through lemonade.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The second annual Williston Lemonade Day was held on Saturday, with more than 200 children setting up street-side lemonade stands to sell the juice and baked goods.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Some stands also popped up in the neighboring communities of Trenton, Grenora and Tioga.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Nine-year-old Aaralyn Osburn set up her Williston stand to capture airport traffic, hoping to earn enough money to attend a summer camp.
