The unidentified man reportedly was not injured,\u00a0 and\u00a0 arrested, the officer received minor injuries.<\/p>\n<p>Then on Wednesday afternoon, Jamestown Police, the Stutsman County Sheriff&#8217;s Office and North Dakota Highway Patrol, sought a car reportedly stolen earlier in the day, which was spotted by law enforcement being driven in Jamestown.<\/p>\n<p>The driver allegedly was driving with a suspended license.<\/p>\n<p>The agencies were unable to make a stop.<\/p>\n<p>The investigation is also continuing concerning the stolen vehicle report.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Jamestown (CSi) The Fargo Veterans Administration office will host a free legal clinic for veterans July 13, 2016, from 9-a.m., to 3-p.m., at the third floor auditorium.<\/p>\n<p>On Wednesday\u2019s Wayne Byers Show on CSi Cable 2, Stutsman County Veterans Service Office, David Bratton said the VA is offering the legal clinic to vets that may otherwise may not have legal counsel available or may not be able to afford the fees.<\/p>\n<p>He also pointed out that Project Evergreen is geared to offer summer lawn care and winter snow removal to veterans, or families of military personnel now serving in the military. Call 1-877-758-4835 for more information.<\/p>\n<p>A day-long clinic for caregivers is set for August 12, 2016, from 9-a.m., to noon on managing stress and another afternoon session from 1-p.m., to 4-p.m., on problem solving and effective communications for family caregivers, at the Fargo VA.<\/p>\n<p>Pre-register by calling 701-232-3241 Ext. 3786.<\/p>\n<p>Bratton said a Disabled Veterans Deer Hunt is planned November 7,8, 2016, at Camp Grafton. Arrangements can be made by calling the Barnes County Veterans Service office, with applications due by July 29, 2016.<\/p>\n<p>He reminds veterans that the PTSD Support Group meets in Jamestown the second and fourth Tuesdays each month at 12:30-p.m., at the Law Enforcement Center\u2019s lower level meeting room, with a combat veteran from the Fargo VA.<\/p>\n<p>More information on veterans services by calling David Bratton at 701-252-9043. His office is open Monday-Friday from 8-a.m. to 5-p.m., at the LEC\u2019s lower level.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Courteneay (CSi)\u00a0 The North Dakota Department of Transportation informs motorists that beginning Thursday, July 7, 2016 \u00a0North Dakota Highway 20 in Courtenay will be temporarily closed for track repair by Canadian Pacfic Rail.<\/p>\n<p>The temporary closure begins at 8-a.m., and is expected to be complete by 4-p.m.. Motorists will need to\u00a0make a small detour during the project.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>MANDAN, N.D. (AP) &#8211; Mandan police say 3 pounds of methamphetamine was seized during a traffic stop in the city.\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Officers also confiscated a rifle, two handguns cash, drug paraphernalia and silver coins during the traffic stop on Wednesday.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The driver and passenger were arrested and were being held in the Morton County jail.<\/p>\n<p>Lt. (AP) &#8211; A North Dakota sheriff has pleaded not guilty to a misdemeanor charge stemming from an altercation at a Minnesota bar.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Sargent County Sheriff Travis Paeper has entered his plea to the disorderly conduct charge.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Paeper was charged in Clay County, Minnesota, for the May 14 incident at the Red Hen Taphouse in Dilworth. Paeper previously told the station that the charge was a surprise.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Court documents say Paeper was sitting at a table with three women who asked him to leave after he said something they didn&#8217;t like. (AP) &#8211; Mercer County authorities are investigating the death of a service dog that its owner says was stolen from him.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Patriot Assistance Dogs trainer Linda Wiedewitsch\u00a0 that a military veteran called on Monday to report that Cletabell the service dog had been stolen near Hazen. (AP) &#8211; The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has signed off on a Red River diversion project around the flood-prone cities of Fargo and Moorhead, Minnesota.<br \/>\n\u00a0The project partnership agreement with the Fargo-Moorhead Diversion Authority clears the way for construction to begin on the 30-mile channel, which is meant to reduce the flood risk for 225,000 people and 70 square miles of infrastructure.<br \/>\n\u00a0Fargo Mayor Tim Mahoney calls the singing a &#8220;significant milestone&#8221; for the $2.1 billion project.<br \/>\n\u00a0The two cities dealt with three straight years of high water beginning with a record crest in 2009 that destroyed about 100 structures and took a massive sandbagging effort to save other homes. Wade scored 19 points a game while appearing in 74 games for the Heat last season.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Meanwhile, a person familiar with the trade says the Bulls have sent Mike Dunleavy to the Cleveland Cavaliers to help make room for the incoming Wade. The 35-year-old Dunleavy averaged a career-low 7.2 points in 31 games for the Bulls last season.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Chicago made further cap room by shipping guard Jose Calderon and two second-round draft picks to the Lakers.
