STORMS ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP<br \/>\n\u00a0DURING THE AFTERNOON AND EVENING HOURS ON SATURDAY WITH SOME POSSIBLY SEVERE.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"column column-double column-last widget single\">\n<div class=\"post-content\">\n<p>Jamestown (CSi) \u00a0A cut CenturyLink fiber has disrupted phone communications in the Jamestown area.<\/p>\n<p>To reach CSi Cable Customer Service temporary phones.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Jamestown: Call 252-2225, \u00a0if that does not work, try\u00a0658-7373<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Valley City: \u00a0Call 845-4381 \u00a0or 701-658-7373<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Via Email: \u00a0info@CSiCable.com<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>In person: \u00a0 308 2 St SW Jamestown<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Officials with Century Link are in the process of determining the extent of damage to an underground fiber cable that was cut around 10am\u00a0Thurs morning.<\/p>\n<p>A construction crew installing a fiber line appears to have cut the CenturyLink fiber near 27th Ave NE &amp; 13th St NE (old #10) near the curve at the south end of the runway of Jamestown Regional Airport. \u00a0 This cut line has created a variety of local issues:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>CenturyLink customers can call other local CenturyLink#s<\/li>\n<li>CenturyLink customers can not call DCT customers.<\/li>\n<li>Cell to Cell works<\/li>\n<li>Cell to CenturyLink #s do not work<\/li>\n<li>DCT customers can not call CenturyLink customers<\/li>\n<li>Landline phones will experience long distance problems<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please standby while repairs are being made.<\/p>\n<p>It appears that DCT customers can call other DCT local customers but are unable to call CenturyLink customers.<\/p>\n<p>Normal long distance for CenturyLink has been disrupted.<\/p>\n<p>Stutsman County Emergency Manager Jerry Bergquist says:<\/p>\n<p>9-1-1 <strong>emergency<\/strong> calls\u00a0work and are being routed through State Radio and back to the LEC in Jamestown, and is accessible through cell phone and land lines, from any local exchange.<\/p>\n<p>He added that communications between some phone service subscribers may or may not be available, including land line and cell phones.<\/p>\n<p>Bergquist will have more information when available from Century Link officials.<\/p>\n<p>Internet services for CSi Broadband are working normally.<\/p>\n<p>The cuts are affecting residents in Stutsman, Barnes, LaMoure, and Dickey counties.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Bismarck (CSi) The North Dakota Aeronautics Commission reports another increase in Boardings at Jamestown Regional Airport.<\/p>\n<p>The reports says in June this year boardings were 999, compared to 671 in June of 2015.<\/p>\n<p>An increase of 48.8 percent.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Jamestown (CSi) The 3rd Annual Ride To Silence The Stigma is Sunday July 17, 2016 starting with registration at 11-a.m., to 12:30-p.m., at Stutsman Harley Davidson. (Free T-shirt while supplies last.)<\/p>\n<p>The three Major Sponsors include, &#8220;Stutsman Harley Davidson&#8221; &#8220;Newman Signs&#8221; and &#8220;IDK&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The &#8220;Unite to Silence the Stigma&#8221; Jamestown Chapter is holding this bike run to help raise awareness and eliminate the stigma associated with mental health issues to prevent loss to suicide.<\/p>\n<p>On The Wayne Byers Show on CSi Cable 2, we were joined by the Chapter Chairperson Margo Haut, and chapter member Cindy Rodacker, of Jamestown<\/p>\n<p>Margo said, &#8220;Ride to Silence the Stigma&#8221; has been held for two consecutive years, in cooperation with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP).<\/p>\n<p>The organization has been able to directly donate to AFSP 50% of these funds to the national organization for research with the other 50% returned and used in the community.<\/p>\n<p>Due to the lengthy and limited approval process, the committee found it difficult to have funds come back to Jamestown, resulting in the legal formation of Unite to Silence the Stigma (UTSS), a nonprofit corporation in Jamestown. UTSS will continue to donate money to AFSP.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">Cindy pointed out that donations can be made by making checks payable to: UTSS, PO Box 623, Jamestown, ND 58402.<\/p>\n<p>In 2014 ~ the ride donated over $10,000 to AFSP.<\/p>\n<p>She added that in 2014 over $10,000 were donated to the AFSP.<\/p>\n<p>In 2015 proceeds brought DC Faber and his post-trauma model to Jamestown<\/p>\n<p>In addition they sponsored a bench ad, donated to AFSP, and were able to promote The Out of Darkness walk.<\/p>\n<p>The money we raise this year will go toward education, awareness and future events in Jamestown that will bring mental health issues out of the darkness and into the light.<\/p>\n<p>Margo said that local mental health and suicide prevention resources are available through the South Central Human Service Center in Jamestown.<\/p>\n<p>She said that last year in North Dakota 133 live were lost in North Dakota to suicide, the ninth highest suicide rate in the nation.<\/p>\n<p>She said the veterans lives lost to suicide in the United States are about 24 per day, losing more lives than to combat deaths.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) &#8211; A Powerball ticket sold in Bismarck is worth $150,000 in the latest drawing.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 State lottery officials say the ticket matched four white balls and the Powerball in Wednesday&#8217;s drawing to win the game&#8217;s $50,000 third prize, and an option that was purchased tripled the amount.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The winning numbers were 3, 15, 29, 54 and 57, and the Powerball was 10. (AP) &#8211; A Fargo woman is accused of threatening to shoot a neighbor and police officers during a night of drinking.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The incident happened Wednesday night on the city&#8217;s south side. Officers secured the neighborhood for several blocks before determining the woman was not a danger to herself of others.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The woman was arrested for terrorizing and preventing arrest. She has not yet been charged.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) &#8211; A Minot man accused of killing his ex-wife last November has been scheduled for trial late this year. Thirty-year-old Richie Wilder Jr. has pleaded not guilty to murder in the slaying of 30-year-old Angila Wilder, who was found dead in her home. All court records in the case have been sealed. An 11-day jury trial has been scheduled, beginning Dec. 12. Wilder could face life in prison if convicted.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0WILLISTON, N.D. (AP) &#8211; Williston commissioners have decided to draft a new ordinance eliminating oil field crew camps in city limits.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Judge Daniel Hovland last month issued a preliminary injunction preventing Williston from enforcing a July 1 shut-down deadline.
