Jamestown (CSi) The Jamestown Police Department is warning residents of a convicted sex offender who has moved into the City of Jamestown.<\/p>\n
Ramon Martinez, Jr.,is living at 221 1st Avenue, North, Jamestown ND. (Living in his vehicle).<\/p>\n
His vehicle is a dark green 1997 Mercury Mountaineer, ND license: 684AEK.<\/p>\n
He is a 37 year old male, five feet six inches tall, and 150 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair.<\/p>\n
He has been assigned a high risk assessment by the North Dakota Risk Level Committee of the North Dakota Attorney General\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n
He has been convicted of Corrupt\/Solicitation of a minor involving a 15 year old girl at his Fargo residence.<\/p>\n
Convicted in December of 2007 in Cass County District Court.<\/p>\n
Disposition, five years, one year suspended, 10 years supervised release.<\/p>\n
He has been convicted of Corrupt \/Solicitation of a minor providing alcohol to a 16 year old girl and then had sex with her.<\/p>\n
He was convicted in October of 2001 in Richland County District Court.<\/p>\n
Disposition, one year-359 days suspended for one year.<\/p>\n
He is currently on probation with North Dakota Parole and Probation, is on GPS monitoring.<\/p>\n
Martinez is not wanted by police at this time and has served the sentence imposed by the court.<\/p>\n
This notification is meant for public safety and not to increase fear in the community, nor should this information be used to threaten, assault, or intimidate the offender.<\/p>\n
Any attempts to harass, intimidate or threaten these offenders, their families, landlords, or employers will be turned over for prosecution.<\/p>\n

Jamestown (CSi) The Fallen Heroes Memorial and Honor Ride is set to begin in Jamestown on August 12, 13, 2016 starting at the Jamestown Civic Center. The event honors fallen and KIA soldiers, and there families.<\/p>\n
This year\u2019s theme is: “Not Without Honor: They Served, They Defended Freedom.<\/p>\n
The activities start on Friday the 12th<\/sup> at the Civic Center with the Fallen Heroes Memorial Steak Fry at at 6-p.m. The social hour is at 5-p.m., when the doors open.<\/p>\n At the Steak Fry is the chance to win $2,500 in cash prizes. Tickets are $25.<\/p>\n The North Dakota Army National Guard, 188th<\/sup> Army Band will perform from 7-p.m., to 10-p.m.<\/p>\n There will be a cash bar all evening. They gave chase to a vehicle that fled the scene and drove to an apartment, and arrested the 21-year-old driver on several charges including fleeing and driving under suspension.

\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The state countered that Hieb lost his right to challenge when he voluntarily pleaded guilty his appeal was not filed within the two-year statute of limitations.<\/p>\n
\n\u00a0The vote next month will be the fourth time residents have voted on the issue since 2012, and the second time this year.
\n\u00a0School officials say enrollment has risen every year since 2008, to nearly 500 students. The proposed $10 million project will include new classrooms and other improvements.
\n\u00a0If the vote fails again, the issue can’t be placed on the ballot for another year, under state law.<\/p>\n
