Central Ave) for Community Cruise Night on September 8, 2016.<\/p>\n PUBLIC FORUM \u00a0No One Spoke\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n PUBLIC HEARINGS<\/strong><\/p>\n Regarding Special Assessments confirmed by the Special Assessment Commission for Water Main Improvement Districts No. 96B and 97.\u00a0\u00a0 The City will cover about two-thirds of the total cost.<\/p>\n Following the Public Hearing, the City Commissioners approved a Special Assessments as Recommended by the Special Assessment Commission for the Water Main.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n A Public Hearing was held for an Application for Commercial Property Tax Incentives (PILOT) for New or Expanding Businesses for Valley Bluffs LLC. For a 41 unit apartment building construction.<\/p>\n Following the Public Hearing Commissioners approved \u00a0a Resolution approving a Commercial Property Tax Incentive (PILOT) to Valley Bluffs LLC.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n A Public Hearing was held for an Application for Commercial Property Tax Incentives (PILOT) for New or Expanding Businesses for Meridian Apartments LLP, a 36 unit apartment building proposed for Winter Show Road.<\/p>\n Following the Public Hearing, Commissioners approved a Resolution approving a Commercial Property Tax Incentive (PILOT) to Meridian Apartments LLP.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n RESOLUTIONS\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n Approved a Resolution determining the Sufficiency of Protest for Paving Improvement District No. 112.<\/p>\n Approved a Resolution creating Paving Improvement District No. 113 mill and overlay, and seal coat work.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Approved a Resolution approving Final Plans, Specifications and Probable Cost for Paving Improvement District 112, th\u00a0 main Street mill and overly project on Main Street, next year.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n NEW BUSINESS:<\/strong><\/p>\n The City Commission approved a 5 year property tax exemption for residential building improvements at a house at 1130 3rd<\/sup> St SE. City Assessor Hansen said, the house will be gutted and placed on the market for sale.<\/p>\n The City Commission considered and approved a Conditional Use Permit for Bonnie Benson at 1025 11th<\/sup> St SW to replace her mobile home due to a fire, in a non-zoned area.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Considered a Food & Beverage Grant for the Eagles Club in an amount not to exceed $50,074.
