Zoning Board.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Default\"><span style=\"font-size: 11.0pt;\">Consideration was given to the purchase of 460 3<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 7.0pt;\">rd <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 11.0pt;\">St. SE for the appraised value of $53,000, in the Phase Three Permanent Flood Control area .<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"Default\"><span style=\"font-size: 11.0pt;\">The City Commission unanimously approved.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The city Commission approved \u00a0a Master Lift Valve Installation Contract with Swanberg Construction for $161,300. \u00a0The City Commission previously approved funding under an Emergency Declaration.<\/p>\n<p>Swanberg Construction will start work next week, to take about two weeks to complete.<\/p>\n<p>Commissioners approved \u00a0funding the replacement costs for Paving 111, with the option selected of $107,000 to be paid for out of the R&amp;R Fund.<\/p>\n<p>The Mill and Overlay includes 6<sup>th<\/sup> Avenue Northeast, and 2<sup>nd<\/sup> Avenue Northwest.<\/p>\n<p>Mayor Carlsrud declared a conflict of interest.<\/p>\n<p>The Commissioner voted to not allow him to vote.<\/p>\n<p>The Commission then voted to approve the funding.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"Default\"><span style=\"font-size: 11.0pt;\">Approved was the purchase of Street Roller in the amount of $31,203.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"Default\"><span style=\"font-size: 11.0pt;\">Adminsrator Schelkoph explained that the roller in the present machine malfunctioned.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"Default\"><span style=\"font-size: 11.0pt;\">The city leased a street roller last summer.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"Default\"><span style=\"font-size: 11.0pt;\">The cost of the new Street Roller was reduced by 25 percent, with the leased machine going toward the new purchase as a trade in, as supplied by the lessee. <\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>CITY ADMINISTRATORS REPORT<\/p>\n<p>David Schelkoph reported that the city\u2019s Public Works 2017 preliminary budget has been established, with meetings set, and the mid-December City Commission meeting to address the Final Approval.<\/p>\n<p>Plans are still on hold for a storage building to keep flood control items.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>CITY UPDATES &amp; COMMISSION REPORTS<\/p>\n<p>City Attorney Myhre reported on updates to the City Code, one item includes residents parking vehicles in their yards.<\/p>\n<p>Dave Andersen reported that tree earmarked for removal have been removed, and sidewalk cuttings are concluding.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>City Assessor Hansen gave a report on reassessments of \u00a0residential property valuations.<\/p>\n<p>City Fire Chief Retterath reminds residents to check their carbon monoxide detectors.
