Approved a Raffle Permit for Sharp Shooter Showdown, Relay for Life.<\/span><\/p>\n

PUBLIC FORUM:\u00a0 No one spoke<\/strong><\/p>\n

ORDINANCES <\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

Approved the Second and Final Reading of an Ordinance amending Title 9, Zoning for Valley City.<\/span><\/p>\n

NEW BUSINESS <\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

\u00a0Approved a Special Alcohol Beverage Event for CHI Mercy Health Holiday Party <\/span><\/p>\n

Approved the\u00a0 2017 Scheduled Board Meetings, as explained by Finance Director Richter.<\/p>\n

Approved the three year Employee Assistance Program Full Service Contract with the Village Business Institute. \u00a0City Administrator Schelkoph said assistance is through the Employee Assistance Program, with a toll free phone number, including counseling, and other assistance including training sessions.\u00a0 He said the cost is $30 per full time employee, $300 per year, including members of the fire department.<\/p>\n

Approved a Temporary Construction Easement to the NDDOT for the purpose of constructing the\u00a0 Main Street Mill & Overlay. \u00a0\u00a0City Engineer KLJ\u2019s Chad Peterson said\u00a0 the work will be in 2017, with bids this Friday.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Approved the purchase of 348 9th Avenue Northeast for the appraised value of $175,000.\u00a0 Commission Pedersen said the dollars for purchase come in part from a grant.\u00a0 The city also has the option of moving the structure to another location.<\/p>\n

David Schelkoph said the valve replacement project at the Master Lift Station is nearly completed.<\/p>\n
