Here\u2019s everything you need to know about the recall.<\/p>\n<p>Savvy consumers will want to take note: holiday White Peppermint <strong>Hostess Twinkies<\/strong> have been recalled. Hostess said \u201cit is voluntarily recalling the product due to a recall by ingredient provider Blommer Chocolate Co. of its confectionery coating\u201d, according to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.reuters.com\/\">Reuters<\/a>. \u201cThe coating contains milk powder ingredients recalled by Valley Milk Products, due to a concern over salmonella contamination,\u201d the company added. You can also call 1-800-483-7253 with any questions.<\/p>\n<p>So far, none of the coating that was sampled has tested positive for salmonella, and fortunately, no illnesses have been reported.
