{"id":115092,"date":"2017-01-24T09:49:21","date_gmt":"2017-01-24T15:49:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=115092"},"modified":"2017-01-24T15:13:24","modified_gmt":"2017-01-24T21:13:24","slug":"city-commission-approves-parking-lot-improvements","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=115092","title":{"rendered":"City Commission approves parking lot improvements"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-70342\" src=\"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/VCpublicWorks-300x202.jpg\" alt=\"VCpublicWorks\" width=\"300\" height=\"202\" srcset=\"https:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/VCpublicWorks-300x202.jpg 300w, https:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/VCpublicWorks-259x175.jpg 259w, https:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/VCpublicWorks.jpg 445w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Valley City (CSi)\u00a0 The Valley City Commission met in Special Session Tuesday morning at 7-O\u2019Clock at City Hall, to discuss \u00a0\u00a0a Resolution creating 2017 City Owned Parking Lot Improvement District.<\/p>\n<p>All members were present.<\/p>\n<p>City Administrator David Schelkoph says this is a \u00a0multi-year project, with a Special Assessment District created, within the district, based on a percentage and includes square footage.\u00a0 The cost with this project in the downtown area is $60,000, which is 10 percent of the project&#8217;s $600,000 to be shared in the Special Assessment District.<\/p>\n<p>KLJ presented an over view of the project, and lots involved and the boundaries.<\/p>\n<p>Parking lots will be in ADA compliance, and some will include a green space, and one will be in concrete.<\/p>\n<p>A protest procedure will be in place for those affected, with letters sent out, and will include a public meeting, February 7th at 7-pm at City Hall.<\/p>\n<p>Following the presentation, the City Commission then approved a Resolution approving preliminary engineering report and directing preparation of detailed plans, specifications and estimates of probable cost for 2017 City Owned Parking Lot Improvement District<\/p>\n<p>The City commission then approved a Resolution Declaring the Necessity for 2017 City Owned Parking Lot Improvement District<\/p>\n<p>The recorded meeting is now showing on CSi Cable 68.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Valley City (CSi)\u00a0 The Valley City Commission met in Special Session Tuesday morning at 7-O\u2019Clock at City Hall, to discuss \u00a0\u00a0a Resolution creating 2017 City Owned Parking Lot Improvement District.
