Carrington\u00a0 (CSi)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Three children died in a mobile home fire in Carringoton early Saturday morning, February\u00a0 25, 2017.<\/p>\n
Three others survived the fire and were taken to the local hospital. \u00a0Carrington Fire Chief Ken Wangen says volunteer firefighters were called to the scene at about 4:30 a.m., Saturday.<\/p>\n
The fire crews, state fire marshal and BCI are trying to determine the cause of the fire.<\/p>\n
The Tuftes’ three children who died were 11 year old Alex, 9 year old Melody, and 7 year old Spencer.<\/p>\n
The father, \u00a032 year old Brandon Tufte, was transported to CHI St. Alexius Health Carrington Medical Center, then airlifted to the Twin Cities.<\/p>\n
Carrington police Sgt. Nathan Kruse, says Brandon received severe burns and cuts.<\/p>\n
His wife, 31 year old Dawn, was taken to the Carrington hospital and treated and released along with the couple’s roommate, 29 year old Garrett Phillips.<\/p>\n

She says it’s an implicit threat that police will engage in practices for which they don’t want to be held accountable.<\/p>\n Jim Palmer of the Wisconsin Professional Police Association says officers generally should wear name badges or unique identifying numbers. (AP) \u2014 A Bismarck woman has died in a rollover accident.<\/p>\n The North Dakota Highway Patrol says 27-year-old Rebecca Gerenz was heading north on Highway 1804 in Burleigh County early Saturday when her car crossed the center line, hit the ditch, vaulted over an approach to a pasture and rolled. She was thrown from her car.<\/p>\n Gerenz was pronounced dead at Sanford Hospital.<\/p>\n The crash remains under investigation.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) \u2014 The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has moved into the evacuated Dakota Access pipeline protest camp to finish the cleanup started weeks ago by the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe.<\/p>\n A Florida-based company is providing trash removal and environmental cleanup on the federal land.<\/p>\n Authorities this week cleared the last holdouts from the camp near the Standing Rock Reservation, which straddles the North Dakota and South Dakota border.
